Transfer from Alamo Colleges

For many people, the Alamo Colleges District is just the beginning of their higher education journey. Students come to our colleges to obtain their first degree or certificate, and then move on to continue their education.

As part of our commitment to student success, we want to make transferring as seamless as possible.

It’s never too early to start transfer planning, and our academic advisors can help students through their transfer process with guidance such as:

  • Assistance with transfer planning

  • Information on university admissions, programs of study, degree requirements, etc.

  • Opportunities for contact with university admissions representatives

  • Transfer fairs and other opportunities

To provide a clear pathway for students, ultimately saving them time and money, the Alamo College District has transfer agreements with various universities.

Transfer Advising Guides (TAGs)

Don't waste time, money, or credit hours. Follow a Transfer Advising Guide (TAG)! Through partnerships with universities, TAGs create a clear path that ensures all classes transfer and count toward the student’s four-year degree program at their chosen university.
